Terry L. Schindeldecker, Quality Control Manager At
Nielsen-Massey, Earns The Title Of Certified Food Scientist


WAUKEGAN, ILLINOIS (April 10, 2013) – Nielsen-Massey is proud to announce that Terry L. Schindeldecker, the company’s quality control manager, earned the designation of Certified Food Scientist (CFS) from the Institute of Food Technologists’ (IFT) International Food Science Certification Commission. By earning the CFS, Schindeldecker, whose been at Nielsen-Massey for over 7 years, once again affirmed his qualifications to manage the food company’s quality control program by demonstrating his knowledge, skills and continued commitment to staying up to date on the constantly evolving area of food science. The CFS is a newly developed designation and so Schindeldecker earns the additional honor of being part of the inaugural class of certificants.

The CFS is a certification program created by the International Food Technologists’ International Food Science Certification Commission to recognize the food science knowledge and qualifications necessary for professionals working within the food system. To maintain the CFS, certificants must complete 75 hours of professional development every five years.
